The Foot of Africa is often called the Toughest race with the warmest heart, and next year will mark the 40th Anniversary! The famous Voet van Afrika marathon, half marathon (10km, 21.1km, 42.2km), take place in the historical town Bredasdorp, Western Cape. The races are unique and promise to take the runners through beautiful scenic as well as more rural parts of the town. Get ready for a tough race with stretches of dirt roads, mountainous tracks over the Anysberg, rock, water and gravel, lots of up and downs, which will test your endurance and push your limits. For the family, there is also the Toontjie 4km Fun run on the evening before the bigger races.
