The accommodation consists of a self catering apartment as well as a bed and breakfast apartment and sleeps 7 persons and houses three double rooms each.
A considerable number of the permanent residents make their livelihood from the sea. Trawling the rich fishing grounds with their little boats, they set out from the safe fishing harbour, a favourite meeting for anglers, traders and visitors. You can dine on freshly caught fish whilst watching the picturesque scene of the locals bartering with fishermen for their daily catch. There are also a variety of excellent shops and modern conveniences. Struisbaai has become a popular spear fishing destination and does sport a beach that stretches for 14 kilometres. The sport of kite surfing has also made its home in this perfect environment. The beach here is exquisite with an almost subtropical feel. The water is crystal clear and its brilliant colour is exaggerated by the colourful boats which reside in the harbour.
