The Voet van Afrika Trail Run

The Voet van Afrika Trail Run is the newest addition to the Voet van Afrika events calendar. The Trail Run will be held on Sunday, October 15^th at the Glaskasteel sports ground in Bredasdorp, Overberg. Focusing on single track trail that flows along the natural lines of the Heuningberg mountains, runners will find themselves surrounded by the serene Overberg fynbos and at the hilltops can see for miles in every direction. Trail runners will traverse the mountainside, dodge boulders, leap streams, witness the “Pulpit” and generally use all of their senses to conquer the trail. Open to beginners and experienced trail runners, these beautiful routes boast varied terrain with some steep ascents and technical descents in places.
