About Struisbaai's Harbour
Struisbaai is a coastal settlement in the Overberg region of South Africa's Western Cape province. The town is about two hundred kilometers south-east of Cape Town, and four kilometers from Cape Agulhas, which is the southernmost point of the African continent. The town boasts an old fishing village with a beautiful natural harbour. Many fishermen still reside in this settlement and in the summer season the harbour is congested with lots of activity as fishermen haul their catch from heavily laden boats and spectators watch in awe.
