About Sijnn Wines
Sijnn (pronounced: Seine) is the original Khoisan name for the Breede River. This exciting new vineyard was established in 2004 on a stony plateau between the hamlet of Malgas and the fishing village of Cape Infanta, 230km east of Cape Town. Bush vines from carefully selected Mediterranean varietals are planted in the extremely rocky soils. Wines are made using traditional methods and a minimal intervention approach is followed by talented winemaker Charla Haasbroek, under the guidance of David Trafford.
Opening hours: Saturdays 10:00 - 15:00 or by appointment.
